Recent reports suggest that Aarti Harishchandra Mittal, who was seen on shows like Apnapan, has been charged with running a prostitution business after she was caught red-handed in an operation by Mumbai police. According to these reports, the police agents confronted her posing as clients and have opened a case against her after collecting evidence when recording the events that occurred. Two more models got caught in the racket, who were reportedly persuaded by Aarti Mittal in the name of money, and were sent to the rehab center.

According to Mid-day reports, the investigation was conducted by the Social Services Branch. An inspector named Manoj Sutar was informed about the prostitution business and decided to pose as a customer in front of Aarti Mittal. He contacted the 27-year-old actress and casting director in an attempt to get “two girls for her friends.” Mittal, who lives in Oshiwara, Mumbai, responded to her message asking them to meet at hotels in Goregaon and Juhu. The actress also demanded the huge amount of Rs. 60,000 in addition to asking Sutar to book hotels.
The report further said about catching Mittal red-handed in the act. According to these reports, Aarti Mittal handed out a pair of condoms to the ‘customers’ before asking them to enter the rooms and the police have captured everything that happened on video as evidence of the case. After doing more research on the models who were asked to come to the hotel, reports claim that the models would be paid Rs. 15,000 each for their work as promised by Mittal.
As of now, the case has been registered against Aarti Mittal under Section 370 and other relevant sections of trafficking and prostitution under the Indian Penal Code.
