Ajay Devgn’s NY Cinemas is set to open its exclusive multiplex in the heart of Guwahati city. This multiplex will be NY Cinemas’ entry into the North East region after having successfully delivered multiple screens in North and West India.

NY Cinemas, a multiplex cinema chain, steeped in Indian ethics and values, was founded by a four-time National Award-winning actor and director, Mr. Ajay Devgn. with the intention of bringing the old-world charm of single screens back to multiplexes and bringing audiences closer to his favorite movies and movie stars. Guwahati city will have a new movie watching destination courtesy of NY Cinemas which is located in the heart of the city, located at Roodraksh Mall. The theater is designed keeping in mind the Assamese culture and tradition where everyone feels like at home.
For the first time in Guwahati, you will experience a Mocktail Bar in a cinema where bartenders prepare tempting mocktails of various kinds. A team of passionate chefs offer delicious delicacies with plenty of food options for moviegoers. Rajeev Sharma, CEO of NY Cinemas, mentions: “Ajay’s vision is to select spaces that are not just movie theaters but entertainment experiences for audiences. Each cinema is curated in a classic way with a local touch in its atmosphere and decoration. At Guwahati, we also pride ourselves on offering one of the largest screens (56ft wide), with Dolby Atmos sound that moviegoers will love.”
