It was allowed by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) and approved the film with a U/A certificate. However, five years later, the CBFC requested ‘Ghapa Ghap’ to be censored from an upcoming movie, Jogira Sara Ra Ra.

In some scenes, objectionable ‘finger gesture’ imagery was removed and replaced with proper imagery. The anti-smoking ticker was inserted into a smoking scene. And finally, ‘Ghapa Ghap’ it was removed and replaced with suitable words. The cut list mentions that said dialogue is between a brother and a sister.
After these changes were made, the creators Jogira Sara Ra Ra the certificate of censorship was delivered to them on May 8. The duration of the film, as mentioned in the certificate, is 121 minutes. In other words, this romantic comedy adventure is 2 hours and 1 minute long.
Curiously, Jogira Sara Ra Ra Everything was ready to premiere this Friday, May 12. But due to multiple releases, the filmmakers decided to postpone the film. Jogira Sara Ra Ra it will now premiere on May 26. However, since the initial plan was to release it in the second week of May, the filmmakers had started the censorship process in order to obtain the certificate before May 12.
