In one of the episodes, Maheep makes a shocking revelation that Sanjay Kapoor cheated on her during their 25-year marriage. When she was asked if it was a difficult story to share on screen, she Maheep said that they pushed the limits this season. “There is nothing that has been difficult. It just happened. We were at the time,” she told India Today in an interview. “We have pushed the envelope (referring to showing the real side of her on the show). I hope women understand that not everything is a piece of cake. Everyone has their ups and downs in life. And, we go through that, we move on and that’s what it is. It’s not scratched below the surface, you’ll see we all have our problems. It was important (to talk about it).”
Asked if Sanjay Kapoor is aware of the fact that this has been shared on screen, Maheep said: “No, I haven’t discussed it. They’ll find out through the show.”
