The much talked about project Sanjay Leela Bhansali heeramandi is underway, the project that made headlines a while back has started filming and has progressed well. However, if the vine is true, Bhansali, who is only directing one episode of the series, is not happy with certain parts that have been filmed by his associates. Apparently SLB, which is known for its great attention to detail, found certain parts of the series unappealing and decided to reshoot them.

Revealing details of what really happened, a well-placed source tells Bollywood Hungama exclusively: “The sets of heeramandi they are on fire these days, though not physically and more metaphorically. Sanjay Leela Bhansali, who is overseeing the whole project, recently saw some shots of what was shot and the filmmaker was not satisfied with certain parts.” Reasoning why the source continues: “Bhansali’s associates developed massive sets that spanned 1,60,000 square feet for the shoot. However, they were not met with the filmmaker’s keen eye for detail. Known for his opulent filmmaking style, SLB felt that certain parts shot by his associates did not meet his expectations and therefore decided to reshoot some of them.”
With SLB ordering a reshoot of certain parts, the cast of heeramandi you will have to redo the whole program again. Interestingly, this time Bhansali will personally film said sequences again. However, with this new filming, the entire cast of heeramandi is in crisis with the dates that go crazy.
As of now, it remains to be seen how the cast and crew of heeramandi will manage the new dates. as for heeramandi, the limited series features a cast of Sonakshi Sinha, Manisha Koirala, Richa Chadha, Aditi Rao Hydari, among others. The show will stream on Netflix this year. The story is based on the pre-partition era.
