It was recently said that the film will be released in July. However, it seems that the creators have planned to move the release date up a bit more. Speaking of the film, Sidharth Malhotra had previously revealed that she will be seen in a unique avatar in the film. In a statement, the shershaah star said, “As an artist, you would like to work on scripts that bring out the best in you. This really revealed a newer version of me, for which I am very grateful. The amount of love I have received from the public and the fans is magical. I can’t wait to show you what yodha has for them.”
On the other hand, Raashii Khanna also shared her excitement at being part of a Dharma hero. The actress, who previously shared screen space with Ajay Devgn and Shahid Kapoor in Rudra and Farzi, will be seen opposite Sidharth Malhotra for the first time, and the film also marks her first collaboration with Dharma Productions. In an earlier statement, the actress had mentioned that she would not be playing a quintessential heroine in the film, but that her role would be that of a headstrong, action-packed character.
Although details about the character Disha Patani is testing are being kept under wraps, we hear that the Malang actress will also play a pivotal role. Directed by Sagar Ambre and Pushka Ojha, yodha is produced by Dharma Productions in association with Shashank Khaitan and Amazon Prime Video. The premiere of the film is scheduled for September 15.
