Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor leads Your Jhoothi Main Mecca is set to be released on the big screen on March 8, 2023. The film has been approved by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) with a U/A certificate. The romantic comedy has a duration of 159.59 minutes (2 hours, 39 minutes, 59 seconds). While the first half will run for one hour, nine minutes, thirty-nine seconds, the second half will run for one hour, thirty minutes, and twenty seconds. On the other hand, the filmmakers will open advance booking for the upcoming film in India on March 5, three days before the release.

Earlier, it was reported that the makers of the Ranbir Kapoor-Shraddha Kapoor starrer were contemplating releasing the film on Tuesday, March 7, instead of Wednesday, March 8. However, a source close to the development later clarified to us that the proposed plans have been dropped. “There is no change in the plan. Your Jhoothi Main Mecca it will be released on March 8, as originally scheduled,” the source said.
The source further added: “A lot of last-minute preparation is going on with the film and the filmmakers feared that releasing it a day early could add a lot of stress to the already overworked crew. Furthermore, even internationally, the plan was locked in for March 8. Therefore, the decision was made to release Your Jhoothi Main Mecca The 8th of March.”
Talking about the stellar cast of the film, aside from Shraddha and Ranbir, it also features Dimple Kapadia. Meanwhile, Anubhav Singh Bassi and producer Boney Kapoor will make their full acting debut in this directorial by Luv Ranjan.
