The news of the sudden passing of actor and filmmaker Satish Kaushik on March 9 shocked the entire film fraternity and fans across the globe. Hours after the news broke, the internet was flooded with tributes and messages of condolences. On the other hand, uninvited rumors are also being shared about Satish’s cause of death. Speaking of the same, recently, Satish’s actor and close friend Anupam Kher broke his silence. Meanwhile, he also wrote an emotional note.
Anupam Kher Condemns Rumors About Satish Kaushik’s Death; he says: “He needs a dignified exit”
It all happened during the prayer meeting. For the inexperienced, a prayer meeting was held at Satish’s residence in Mumbai on Monday, March 20. While speaking to the media, Anupam Kher addressed the rumors, saying, “I think we should give the man a dignified outing and not make these speculations, because he lived a dignified life. He needs a dignified exit. All these rumors should end today with this pooja. Thank you.”
On the other hand, Kher also dedicated a post to say goodbye to Satish. In the video, he can be seen offering flowers to a photo of Satish. Meanwhile, the song’Do Lafzon Ki Hai Dil Ki Kahani‘ can be heard playing in the background. Captioning the post, she wrote: “Ha! Tujhe maaf kiya! Mujhe akela chhod kar jaane ke liya. (I forgive you for leaving me alone). I will surely find you in the laughter of the people! But we will miss our friendship on a daily basis!! Bye my friend! Favorite Tera wins lagaya hai background mein! Tu bhi kya yaad karega (I have used your favorite song in the background).”
Speaking of Satish Kaushik’s prayer meeting, apart from Anupam, numerous celebrities attended including Vidya Balan, Jackie Shroff, Pankaj Kapur, Moushumi Chatterjee, Tanvi Azmi, Padmini Kolhapure, Gulshan Grover, filmmakers Boney Kapoor, David Dhawan, Abbas- Mustan and Vivek Agnihotri. among others.
