Actor, producer and director Deepak Tijori has filed a complaint against his film’s co-producer Mohan Nadaar. tipppsy for cheating him out of Rs. 2.6 crores. The actor has filed a cheating case against Nadaar at Amboli Police Station in Mumbai under sections 420 and 406 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). A probe has been started.

According to a report in Times of India, Deepika Tijori filed a written complaint 10 days ago after Mohan Nadaar failed to send money. According to Senior Inspector Bandopant Bansode of the Amboli Police Station, “the actor and the defendant had signed the contract in 2019 for the film tipppsy. The defendant did not pay the money and the check issued to him kept bouncing. We are investigating the case and so far no arrests have been made.”
“Nadaar took the money to pay for the London location in September 2019. The money was paid after he promised to return, but he kept making excuses and the checks kept bouncing,” Deepak Tijori’s complaint said. According to FIT, the actor alleged that the filming of the film tipppsy started in September 2019 in London. However, Nadaar was unable to complete the project and incurred a loss of Rs. 2.6 crores.
Meanwhile, Deepika Tijori gained notoriety in the workplace after being cast by Mahesh Bhatt. aashiqui in 1990. pehla nasha, a murder mystery that Gowariker directed in 1993, was one of his productions. Lots of movies, even Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar and Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa, included contributions from Deepak. He will soon be seen in ittar and tipppsy.
