The creators of Aditya Roy Kapur and the protagonist of Mrunal Thakur gumraah recently opted for a unique promotional tactic. After teasing the audience by promising to release the trailer for the film, the filmmakers surprised them by releasing a trailer poster. And to add this gumraah move, the creators piqued curiosity even more by finally revealing the electrifying teaser for the film today.
Gumraah Teaser Revealed; Aditya Roy Kapur reveals the gray side of him while Mrunal Thakur is on the hunt for a murderer
Gumraah is inspired by the Tamil movie Thadam. The trailer revolves around an intense confrontation between Mrunal Thakur and Aditya Roy Kapur. While it clearly doesn’t reveal much about the film, the trailer features different shades portrayed by Aditya’s character changing from a lover to showing glimpses of his tones of grey. On the other hand, Mrunal is seen as the no-nonsense police officer, who seems to be on a mission to hunt down the killer.
Directed by debuting director Vardhan Ketkar, the film is being produced by Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series and Murad Khetani’s Cine1 Studios. Gumraah will also star Aditya Roy Kapur in a dual role for the first time. Its theatrical release is scheduled for April 7, 2023.
