Actor-comedian Kapil Sharma has reportedly starred in Rhea and Ekta Kapoor’s upcoming film, which also features Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tabu and Kriti Sanon. According to reports, the creators of The gang they have brought in Kapil Sharma to play a leading role in the film.

A report on Pinkvilla stated: “Kapil has an amazing role in The gang, and the team is very excited to have him on board. In fact, his role will be a pleasant surprise for the audience. He will start filming it soon.” The actor and comedian is also expected to start filming his part of the movie soon in an international location that has yet to be revealed. However, an official confirmation of The gang is still expected.
Earlier, Kriti Sanon had started shooting her part and so did Kareena Kapoor Khan. The film also features Diljit Dosanjh in a pivotal role.
The story of The gang follows three working women rushing to get on with life. But as they try to make their way, their fates lead them into unexpected and unwarranted situations, leading them to get caught up in a web of lies.
Directed by Rajesh Krishnan and co-produced by Balaji Motion Pictures Limited and Anil Kapoor Productions, The gang it was in the flats last month. Mark your calendars and get ready for one of the most anticipated comedies of the year!
Apart from this, Kapil Sharma had previously done two comedy films i.e. Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon in 2015 and firangi in 2017. He was last seen in zwigato which was directed by Nandita Das.
