Days after the demolition of Noida’s twin tower, Kundali Bhagya actor Manit Joura had revealed that he had two floors in it. In a video shared Thursday by Manit’s co-star Shraddha Arya, the former spoke candidly about the difficulties, revealing that the government had recovered 70% of the money she had invested. Discussing the same thing in detail with ETime, Manit shared that they were unaware there was a case against the builders related to construction.

The Naagin 6 actor said, “Yes, my father had bought two flats in the twin towers, Apex and Ceyane. He bought a flat in 2011 and another in 2013 as an investment for me. We were unaware that there was a case against the builders regarding certain issues related to this build. We had a right to know, but they chose not to tell us.”
As their conversation progressed, Joura stated, “My father had dreamed of having a nice place in a good location, but that didn’t happen. The Supreme Court ruled that builders will have to pay buyers interest on the amount delivered to them. However, we were paid the amount of interest for only a few months, and that’s when we filed another case.”
Giving more information, he added, “After that, they started paying us in small amounts for a while, which didn’t really help because what we had paid for the property was a considerable amount.”
Sharing his opinion on the demolition of the supertech towers, Manit went on to say, “It was painful. I didn’t even see the video of the demolition and I didn’t talk to my parents about it. We have received an amount from the builders, which the court had ordered them to give, but that amount is not close to what the market value of the flats is today”.
On August 28, the twin skyscrapers were demolished for violating laws, building regulations, and fire safety regulations.
