While the sudden outbreak of COVID-19 kept everything on hold, many legendary actors have also left for their heavenly abode. One of them was Rishi Kapoor. And, this day, September 4, 2022, marks the 70th anniversary of the late actor’s birth.

On the occasion of her late husband’s birth anniversary, wife Neetu Kapoor took to her verified social media account and shared a happy photo of the couple. In the photo, Rishi can be seen posing with a grin from ear to ear as Neetu stands next to him. The twinned couple can be seen wearing black outfits. Giving a short caption to the photo post, Kapoor wrote, “happy birthday” along with a red heart emoticon.
On the other hand, Rishi Kapoor’s daughter, Riddhima Kapoor Sahani, also remembered her father and dedicated a moving photo to him. The picture showed a Rishi photo frame. The reflection of Riddhima and Ranbir is quite evident in the glass photo frame. Riddhima’s caption read: “In your reflection we live and love…Happy Birthday Dad.”
Actor Amar Akhbar Anthony passed away in April 2020 after a two-year battle with leukemia. He was diagnosed with cancer in 2018 and later traveled to New York for treatment. Kapoor stayed there for almost a year and returned to Mumbai in September 2019. Despite his health conditions, the late actor remained professionally active.
Kapoor was last seen in Sharmaji Namkeen, which launched on an OTT platform in 2022.
