We are undoubtedly living in a time when pan-Indian movies are the newest phenomenon. The most recent celebration on the block is for superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s Pan-Indian film. pathan, which has close to Rs 1000 crore at the box office globally. Taking a cue from the industry’s most trusted star, producers Nicky-Vicky Bhagnani and Ankur Takrani have signed on for a pan-Indian film with Zilla Ghaziabad Anand Kumar fame. The multilingual film will be produced under his Nicky Vicky Bhagnani Films banner and will have a worldwide release in many languages.

A source familiar with the matter told us: “The project is a suspenseful comedy and is being made in five languages. The team has hired renowned screenwriter Srihari Nanu for the script. Working with him will be Kashmir Archives writer Saurabh M Pandey. The creators have a large scale in mind for the shooting. It will be the first film to be shot in Hindi and Telugu simultaneously. The creators are thinking of releasing it in all five South Indian languages.”
Buzz says that the creators are in talks with an A-lister and an announcement about the project will be made soon.
Confirming the development, Nicky Bhagnani said: “It is a project that has been in the works for the last year. We are currently in the process of closing the final draft. We are also in talks with some actors and will make the announcement once the dotted line has a signature.” Vicky Bhagnani added: “As producers we want to go further and raise the stakes. A pan-Indian film was a natural progression. It was a brilliant concept and we have assembled an eclectic team that will further refine the material.”
Kumar said: “As a filmmaker, you want your stories to resonate with an audience. I am moved by the faith that the team and my producers have shown in me. We have an amazing story on our hands and we can’t wait to do our best and make a memorable movie.”
The movie is expected to hit the floors in the middle of the year with the final announcement expected next month.
