I was never able to put myself in the shoes of a real life para-athlete, but even the small obstacles I had to overcome as an athlete reminded me of things we take for granted. Preparing and shooting for Ghoomer was an eye opener in a way I never thought would happen. It was a difficult time physically and emotionally, but my struggles were minuscule compared to those heroes who make our country proud by participating in so many sports as para-athletes.”
