Vishesh Films and T-Series came up with the sequel to their 1990 musical hit aashiqui noble Aashiki 2 after more than 20 years. The first film starred Rahul Roy and Anu Agarwal while the sequel had Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor in the lead roles. The third film in the franchise, titled Aashiki 3will see Kartik Aaryan as the lead.

There has been a lot of speculation about the actress who would be starring opposite Kartik and some names are being carried around by the media as of late. But now bollywood hungama has come to know that the creators are in talks with Sara Ali Khan to be cast as the main lead opposite Kartik in Aashiki 3.
If Sara comes on board, this will be the second time Sara and Kartik have faced each other after Imtiaz Ali. Love Aaj Kal in 2020. We have also learned that the creators are also looking to cast another actress as the third lead. The search for the same is also currently underway.
Kartik was last seen at Rohit Dhawan’s Shehzada, which launched last week. As for his other upcoming movies, she has Satyaprem Ki Kathawhere she stars opposite Kiara Advani, and an untitled project with filmmaker Kabir Khan.
