Shah Rukh Khan and Atlee have finally wrapped up principal photography for their long-awaited action artist, Jawan. The film is scheduled to release on June 2, 2023 and Bollywood Hungama has learned that Jawan’s team will now shoot two songs in the month of April over 10 days. “Shah Rukh Khan and Nayanthara will record Jawan’s first song in the first week of April in Mumbai. It is a song composed by Aniruddh and is being touted as a bestseller of epic proportions,” a source told Bollywood Hungama.

After the first song, Shah Rukh Khan will again arrive at Atlee’s set in the second week of April for the recording of the second song. “For this song, Deepika Padukone will join Shah Rukh Khan. The song will be filmed until April 15 and that would mean an end in Jawan’s music,” the source told us. The two songs are said to be zeroed chart hits by Atlee, SRK and Aniruddh.
Speaking of Jawan, the VFX and post-production team is working around the clock to prepare the film for a June 2, 2023 release, and currently, timelines are set with the date in mind. “Atlee is confident that the film will be released on June 2, 2023. The final print with VFX will be locked on May 10 and even then, the team will have 20 days off available. Atlee is a master at his job and knows how to shoot under pressure”.
Jawan features Vijay Sethupathi in the negative lead role and marks the Hindi debut of the highly successful filmmaker Atlee. It also marks SRK’s return to the big screen after the all-time blockbuster Pathaan, and the film opens to sky-high audience expectations.
