Vir expressed his opinion on Twitter through multiple tweets, stating that he prefers the concept of buying tickets to verify an artist instead of verifying through blue ticks. He also mentioned that he doesn’t mind being impersonated on the platform. He further added that users can tell the real him from the impersonators based on whether they agree or disagree with his tweets.

According to your suggestion, if someone is not satisfied with your tweets and wants to take action or report it to higher authorities, then the account in question belongs to an unverified impersonator.

Meanwhile, Nargis Fakhri tweeted: “I never really come here. I just realized I’m no longer verified with that little blue thingy. So now everyone with a blue check pays a fee for it. Hmmm okay. if someone can buy it, then what’s the point.”

Actor-filmmaker Prakash Raj wrote: “Goodbye #BlueTick… Nice to have you… my journey… my talks… my exchange… carry on with my people… take care #justquestions,” in the microblogging site. , while actor-turned-politician Ravi Kishan tweeted: “Why me…???? Is the blue mark gone????????????? Mr. Musk??? ?”, in his response.

According to the announcement, users who were verified under the old system would lose their blue tick if they did not sign up for Twitter Blue by April 20. For the inexperienced, payment is now required to get a blue badge on your profile. In India, Twitter Blue is available for a monthly fee of Rs 650 on the web and Rs 900 on mobile.
